First find a solid perch ...
Then stand on one leg.....
Now bend your neck ....
And then twist your head as far to the right,
While keeping your eyes on the prize!
So how long can you hold this position?
I failed just after raising one leg .. lol. FAB.
Great post and photo of the heron. They are amazing birds.
ReplyDeleteWhat a comparison to the people I see on the ship each morning! ;))) Perfect!

ReplyDeleteHee, hee.. I'd imagine he's be good at Twister :-) That's a beautiful photo - and a great text to accompany it.
ReplyDeleteI love watching herons - they can be so graceful, elegant, patient and still. And then sometimes they are hilarious, especially when they crash land in a treetop and you see their legs dangling down while they try and rstore a little dignity.
Looks like it's got it's eye on something it likes. Nice pic.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great shot!
ReplyDeleteWell captured Frank.
