I have had an explosion of babies on my property and I worry about them, too! I'm glad I was out watching the Tree Swallow houses yesterday to see the babies emerge, because 2 of the 3 houses are already vacant. There's just one lonely Tree Swallow left flying over the meadow and darting in and out of one of the houses. I was reading a book about Harlequin Ducks this past winter and was surprised to learn that fish eat ducklings, too! Doesn't that beat all? It's one thing to worry about the surrounding air space! ~karen
whoa, we're in the midst of a heat wave here in the midwest, what I wouldn't give for a day of drizzle! your photos are lovely. these babies are so fluffy/fuzzy. great shots.
What a cute little fuzz ball. Amazing photos! It has been too hot around here to get out and look for photo ops. Since July is hotter than normal, I'm hoping August will be cooler than normal.
SO precious and SO cute!!! Thank you for sharing these shots! BTW, it's a 106 heat index here for who knows how long...like the sound of a cool drizzle :-)
Hi everyone. Thanks for all your lovely comments on the fluffy Tufties ... I'll keep my eyes open to see if I can catch them as they grow up .. but don't hold your breath. Cheers FAB.
Must agree Frank really awfull weather down here as well, so very few chances to get out.
