Reflections from the marsh.

It has been raining on and off for the past few days so here are some watery reflections from my coastal mashland visit last week.
I desperately need some clear, fine weather to entice me outdoors.  FAB.

  1. Hi Frank,
We all need that mate, to go out of this long winter!!! It looks like the winter is just coming to us now... Really cold and snow forecast for the next few days ;-)
You got some nice reflection pictures there.... It is cool to keep the fingers and camera ready and practicing ;-)

  6. Hi Chris. Not sure I'll do much shooting, other than thro' the window, as they forecast more rain well into next weekend!

Sharon. It may take more than crossed fingers.

Andy. I don't mind birding in the wet, it's the camera that doesn't want to play ball!

    Hi Mona. Many thanks.

Hi John. Cheers. May be a while before those conditions present themselves again!

  9. I'm getting tired of the indoor birding as well - looking forward to the nice weather and getting outside. Even a good snow storm would be nice - maybe this week. Nice work on the lapwing - fascinating bird - wish some would stray to the States.

  12. Chris P. It surely can't go on much longer, can it? My research indicates that Northern Lapwing are seen on the upper east coastline of the USA.

ks. I don't usually wish the days away but some dry weather would lift all our spirits.

Warren. It was only one day last week and now I'm paying for it!

  13. What a great birdng spot this seems to be Frank. Soon the rains will disappear and everything will shoot out nice and green again then you will cuss at the leaves which hide the birds from view. :)

  15. Very, very nice. Reflections are always very interesting. Many times the reflection is more vivid than the object.

  16. Hi Joan. Unfortunately the forecasters say we have at least another two weeks of unsettled weather!

Hi Tina. Will do, as soon as it arrives.

Hi Bill S. Well at least it gives me something to shoot when the birds aren't co-operating!
