A return visit to Bushy Park this morning in far better conditions than last week and another session with a Grey Heron who had taken up a sedentary position in the shade.
I can't recall how long I waited for it to move around before resuming its static pose but at least it allowed a few close ups.
A few 'barking sounds' were uttered when a group of Canada Geese sailed a bit too close!
Back to total concentration and oblivious to all the noisy visitors who passed by. FAB.
Linking to WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY.

ReplyDeleteWhat wonder images of the Heron. When in flight they look so prehistoric.
ReplyDeleteI have a youngster visiting the garden pond at the moment. I have tried in vain to get photographs. As soon as I move he takes flight. I have noticed the fish are going down in numbers (good thing, far too many at the moment).
