Me & my shadow!

Another recent but fleeting visitor to the garden was this Comma....when the sun was shining!

    Seeing that sun shine through its wings onto the leaves, you can see the detail of the wing structure... cool!

  9. Hi "Early Birders".
    This is this first year I have really tried to capture butterflies, dragons etc., (much easier with digital than film) so I am very pleased with all your comments. Hopefully with time & some different locations I will be able to capture & post some other species before too long.

  11. Wow! You sure do have some amazing photos of Butterflies Frank! I never see any. Maybe off in a distance where I can't get to them...Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I love my foxes..Ha! Any critter really. But I think I had better stop feeding them all. I'll have the whole woods here..Ha! Ha!
