Hi "Early Birders". This is this first year I have really tried to capture butterflies, dragons etc., (much easier with digital than film) so I am very pleased with all your comments. Hopefully with time & some different locations I will be able to capture & post some other species before too long.
Wow! You sure do have some amazing photos of Butterflies Frank! I never see any. Maybe off in a distance where I can't get to them...Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I love my foxes..Ha! Any critter really. But I think I had better stop feeding them all. I'll have the whole woods here..Ha! Ha! Take care.
THAT is quite an impressive photo!1 I don't think we have commas here, but I'm so new to watching butterflies that I will have to check my butterfly book! What a handsome critter tho!! :)
You managed a Comma photograph the same as I did today, well done. Phil

ReplyDeleteNiiiice... just love that shadow!
ReplyDeleteSeeing that sun shine through its wings onto the leaves, you can see the detail of the wing structure... cool!
Great butterflies and dragons on your latest posts Frank. I love the Comma and was thrilled to 'capture' one myself recently.
ReplyDeleteThis is a terrific shot, Frank. I have never seen a "Comma". He's beautiful.

ReplyDeleteSeem to be plenty of flutters about so far this year.
I know nothing about butterflies unfortunately but I CAN recognize their beauty - and you have great photos of them!
