love that last shot where's he's certainly checking you out. :)
I love the nuthatches, they are cute birds. Great shots, Frank!
Hi frank .. Good images of Nuthatch.. Cograt..
This nuthatch looks very much like our Red Breasted nuthatch. It appears to have the same behavior. Interesting because we tend to think our birds do not have relations on other continents.
Чудові фото пташок!Я завжди дивуюся, скільки терпіння потрібно, щоб зробити таке гарне фото! Пташки такі активні і непосидючі!)))xoxo, Juliana[pjhappies.blogspot.com]
Super pose of the Nuthatch you captured there Frank.
This one is so cute. In Norway we call it "spettmeis". He is kind of Rambo in his behaviour!
Nice captures, Frank. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Really nice shots. Is a really nice bird the spanish name is : Trepador Azul ;). Congratulations from Spain
He's a beauty Frank. Love blue birds of all shapes and sizes. Carol

WoW...lot's of nice detail in these images!!your header shot is amazing. i adore (& am always chasing) those great blue herons!!
Almost like a blue wren without the quirky tail! Gorgeous photos!
Great photos of the Nuthatch. It looks to be just as happy moving down the branch even if it is mostly upside-down.
Love nuthatches! I have a very old birdbook that offers an alternative name of "treemouse", fits pretty well, I think.Your guy looks a lot like the red-breasted nuthatches that are on my feeder.
Hi again, Frank. Now, this is a bird I’d love to see in my garden but unfortunately it isn’t likely based on distribution - but it is making its way closer I do believe. Hope the weather is kind to you this week :-)
IT's a BEAUTY!!

I do love the Nuthatch. Such an interesting bird to watch.
What a wonderful little bird! Nuthatches are some of my favorites. You captured his personality as well as his image!
Hi there - I miss these birds - I used to have them in my garden in south Cumbria. Great shots.I thought I’d let you know that I stepped into the void caused by Springmans decision to close down World Bird Wednesday by setting up Wild Bird Wednesday (!) on my photoblog at Paying Ready Attention – Photo Gallery.Feel free to visit and link.Stewart M
