Migrant Hawker.

During a patch walk last Thursday I watched five Migrant Hawker (Aeshna mixta) but they weren't very co-operative so here are a couple of shots taken last September from around the pond at Bookham Common.

Hopefully when the current stormy weather ceases I'll get a chance to photograph some of our other varied Odonata  ..... FAB.

  1. What a beauty!! I must admit, I don't know a single name of a dragonfly and I'm very impressed by anybody who is familiar with them. Gorgeous images.

  10. Thanks for all your kind comments.

Hopefully a few other Dragons will fill the frame before the end of Summer ... if the rain goes away!

    Cheers ... FAB.
