Common Redshank.

A Common Redshank (Tringa totanus) photographed searching the mud at Church Norton.

Just one of the 76 species I logged as seen or heard during a recent trip to Pagham Harbour.  FAB.

Linking to Wild Bird Wednesday.

  1. Every time I see a Redshank I am struck by how aptly it is named. Great job, Frank.

  6. Thanks for sharing this bird. I'll probably never get to see it but your pictures are a good substitute.
